"My hair is very beautiful today, but yours is not."
Very true dear daughter. Maybe someday you'll realize the reason yours is & mine is not. I don't have time to fix mine in the morning. Why you ask? Because I'm busy making yours beautiful among other things.
Someday you'll appreciate me more than you can realize. At least I hope so. That's the way I feel now when I think of all that my Mom was & is.......
Out of the mouths of babes, huh! But then what mom has time to make themselves "beautiful" before getting kids off to school? I'm also guessing that in their little minds, "beautiful" actually translates to "fancy"
ah yes...some day she'll realize that moms make sure that their daughter(s) look beautiful and then if mom has 5 minutes to herself she'll try to make herself look presentable
hey..you know ...it could be worse..be glad your hair has body to it! mine is flat pancakes! except when it has all its snarls in it! how is your ultrasound..i've been thinking of you..don't you have one coming up? or am i mixed up in the brain cells?
I just love Ayla's smile. It is so cute and mischievous. But this pic of her is darling. The big eyes, head tipped slightly down, not sure if she wants to smile or not. What a cutie!
Very true (the comment about appreciating your mother), and Ayla's hair; you did a beautiful job. I'm impressed you pulled yours back, I'm trying to remember if I combed mine today.:)
when I picked mine out, I had the lady help me and then I had her write down the ones I found and then brought Justin back and asked him. we agreed on the same ones. But yeah, I hear ya. It's not easy.
ahh...aren't kids great. ;) They sure know how to make us step back a bit don't they! Yes, her hair is beautiful, but so are you for making your daughter feel confident in herself.

Nice! Yes the longer I'm a mom, the more I understand the need to celebrate mothers day! Thank goodness for the patience of our Moms... and dads : )
