We only made it a few times this year, but we have an awesome little Heritage Center in town.
In the summer they have different bands playing one night a week for a couple of months.
There was something so summery about spreading out our blanket, laying down, listening to live music mixed with the shouts of children, eating a gelato.........mmmmm. I miss it already!

'They' used to do that at Glover Park 20 yrs or so ago. We enjoyed it even though it was 20 min drive to get there. Maybe next summer we can meet y'all sometime at the Heritage Center. :)
the bummer about the heritage center is that they always have it scheduled for wednesday nights. so as you can imagine, it only works to go a few times a season!
Next summer I'm going to make a more concerted effort to get to some of our live music summer spots around town, too. A lovely way to spend an evening.
