Perhaps some of you know that earlier this year we discovered Ayla needs bifocals. After further testing we now know that was just the tip of the iceberg. Starting next Tuesday she will begin a lengthy & expensive form of therapy. Vision therapy. It was a bit of a shock to get her test results & yet it all fit. Her quirkiness makes a bit more sense. We're guessing it may be a somewhat difficult journey but, we are excited at the thought of making a difference for her.
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

I just read all the tea comments...hope this works for her!
We love her quirky & all, but hope this will help her. Giver her a hug for me.
i hope it works! thinking of you, Ayla!!
All the best! Had never heard of this but the Ukrn's do something similar.
Hoping for some good results for your little darling. Sorry that help is so costly, though... let us hear how it goes.
So fun to see you yesterday! Miss meeting with you and your family. The main color in the living room /dining room is a carmel tan color in "real" life. Surprisingly James was very accepting of all the color. It was white when he left last Monday for a wood floor job and completley painted when he got back late Fri. night:-)Very glad that you are finding all this stuff out so early with Ayla's vision, so she can get help.
Has the vision therapy started? Has school? Hope it all goes well!
