We spent two nights at Annika & Grant's house. The kids are 4, 5, 6 & 7 & got along famously. They even slept together on a big air mattress. The first night Ayla got removed from the sleepover & relocated to our room. She was bothering everyone else with her flashlight. The second night everyone was so tired that they fell asleep with no problems.

Belly Files & Baby News
We had our 20 week ultra-sound today. Well, are you wondering what we're having? So are we! The baby seems to be fine & extremely active. At least today anyway. The technician had a hard time trying to figure out the sex, because of constant movement. She gave her opinion, but she was only 75% sure. So, since dear husband wants to be surprised & we don't feel sure one way or another we're gonna keep you all guessing. What do you think it will be?

Things To Do This Summer
1) Take the kids to the DQ with their pj's on, some sultry evening.
2) Make homemade ice-cream every week.
3) Have a family day at the beach.
4) Sleep in a tent in our yard.
5) Catch fireflies.
6) Take the kids to a drive-in movie.
7) Have lunch picnics in the park.
8) Run through the sprinkler.
9) Have lots of family game nights.
10) Pick strawberries.
11) Let the kids each have their own space in the garden to grow what they want.
12) Go fishing up North.
13) Roast lots of marshmallows.
14) Spend a week in Iowa visiting family & friends & barbecuing every night.
15) Listen to the cicadas when we're in Iowa.
Here's the list of what I want to do this summer. I'll add Craig & the kids' ideas when they get home. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
*Ayla would like to go to the bear park she heard someone at the Y talking about.
* Micah wants to go visit Uncle Walter & Auntie Julie.
* My rather unimaginative husband says he wants to work outside.

Avoiding Antibiotics
Okay, so strep is going through the school again & it's been in Micah's room specifically this past week. I sent him to school today even though my gut was telling me he was sick. He didn't have a temp & of course he was telling me he was fine. He made it until 10:30 before the school nurse called. She wants me to get him tested for strep. I don't want to. He just had it and was on antibiotics a month ago! I'm giving myself one day to try and kick it (whatever IT is) naturally. We are using colloidal silver, immupower and I'm even trying to do the allergy clearing I've been learning about. When I do that I'm "treating" him for a virus. So, wish me luck - we'll see if any of this witchcraft works!
