BLARGHHHH!

Blogger won't let me post my videos of my kids' adorable school programs. The blog post I had in my mind isn't going to work & I don't have the energy to re-think it. Half of our supper company for tonight canceled on us. After I had two roasts cooking & dessert already made. Speaking of dessert we made cookies last night & my kids won't stop asking me for one. Even though I've said no multiple times in multiple ways. They've even resorted to making the poor innocent baby come & ask me. Right now they are upstairs putting everything they find on the floor into a garbage bag. I'm that sick of their mess. I might even go put it in the garbage can when they are done. It wouldn't take much to push me over that edge.

oh Mindy....I also have days like this. Days that I just want to sit down and cry. **hugs**
If we lived closer, we would have come over and helped you eat the roasts. shred them up and freeze them for future shredded beef sandwiches or dice them up for beef soup.

I actually used to take things that were left laying around WAY to long, and put them in an outdoor(garage) trash can that I bought just for said items. If a kid wanted things back they had to go dig through the can and get it. It was very cathartic for me to "throw" things away, but they were retrievable. This also kept me from nagging all of the time! I ended up buying 3 trash cans. They held such things as clothes, roller blades, books, pictures...When my daughter got married (yep!) I made her go through the can. We tossed a lot of the things. Consider this tactic.

Nice seeing you across the room yesterday! I did throw away a ball pit and balls after repeatedly telling Nolan all week I would throw it away if it wasn't picked up by a certain day. He was sober when he saw it but has been much much better about picking up since :p

it was nice to see you too helen. how are you feeling? yes, i think my kids were shocked. after my mini-meltdown i made a before school, after school & after supper routine for them. it is laminated & hanging on the kitchen wall with a dry erase marker next to it. so far they are very excited to check chores off *crossing fingers*

One of those days, huh? I had my house all cleaned before the workers came and it was still relatively clean Sunday morning. Then I got sick, spent the day in bed, and when I ventured out to the rest of the house I was appalled at the mess. No room was exempt. It was seriously awful. I think I need to start tossing too.

i think the spiders are moving in my house for the winter! 2 kids with spider bites. we have very very few toys...we have them go through them and if they don't want them anymore they go in the bag Susan spoke of..except we don't save the bag..it goes to goodwill or the garbage. kind of wastefull i guess...but, even then they're floors in the bedrooms need picked up daily it seems...feeling your pain!! What did you end up doing with all the meat? Sounded yummy!

i meant "their floors"...wrong usage!!
