Micah did not like salt water in his eyes, but he got braver as the day went on.
Kaia was scared of the crashing waves, but she sure enjoyed the sand and shells.
Ayla was happy with everything until she started to overheat & then she was done. Auntie Jo tells me the beach is a lot more fun if you're staying at a hotel right on the beach. Maybe we can try that next time.

And I keep meaning to ask how your garden ended up looking when you got home. I remember you were worried about it. Hope you I didn't chase you off from "tea" the other day. Also, what did you end up painting the bathroom?
we had to drag our kids from the beach.. (we stayed in a hotel right on the beach.. it IS the way to go!) :)
lani - the weeds were really bad. i think we could have mowed the south side of the garden, but it's all better now! you didn't chase me out of tea & we painted the bathroom yellow. i tried to take photos, but none of them have turned out quite right yet.
excellent time was had by all? need i ask??!
