Family Portrait Attempt Number 500 Or So

This one is OK, but we obviously weren't dressed for a family photo & you can tell how extremely tired I was on Thanksgiving day. We had spent Wednesday night at a friend's house and Miss Kaia decided to stage a sleep strike about 2 hours after we went to bed (quite late of course).

This is OK, but we were all laughing at the silliness of Uncle Walter & some of our smiles (OK, just mine) are a bit too big. Plus I don't really like Kaia's hand in her mouth.

Here is a sample of what all the rest were like. Basically the only good thing you can say is that we were all in the same place at the same time.

Moving on. We went to Duluth last weekend and spent a beautiful Saturday at the zoo. Here Ayla is about to totally freak out, because there is a llama right behind her. It's putting it mildly when I say she's not an animal lover.

Kaia however is completely unafraid of any animal. So there you go, a minor update. Please share your opinions about the quality of our family photos.

I've learned to be content to have ALL 6 of our family in ONE spot at the SAME time..and call that our family pic.

I like your 'attempts'. They may not be 'perfect'.. but it's your family.. cute and together!

I understand your frustration - but I do like the top picture. It's great of all of you! Your dress may not be coordinated, but you happiness is. ;) ahhh...Duluth...we spent a couple of days there for our second anniversary. It was at the end of April and the weather was absolutely perfect. I would LOVE to go back. We were in MN to see David's g'parents, aunts/ uncles etc. so we headed a little further north for a couple of days. There are some awesome places to see in these great United States.

I'd have to go back and look at them again...I like the second one. I think it's cute that Kaia's hand is in her mouth!

Honestly, they are all good. I'm impressed by how well your kids are cooperating. I can't even get ours to all look at the camera at the same time. Maybe the top one is the best of the best.

i like the one with the really big huge smiles!...all of them, really. i've been thinking of going to Sears or Jc Penny's like in the olden days and get a traditional family pic. looks like you had a blast!!
